This watercolor painting by Paul Klee depicts a landscape in Sicily near S. Andrea. The painting was created in 1924 and measures w28.4 x h22.6 cm without the frame. It is currently housed at the Franz Marc Museum, Stiftung Etta und Otto Stangl. Klee was a Swiss-German artist known for his unique style that combined elements of Expressionism, Cubism, and Surrealism. He was also a teacher at the Bauhaus school of art and design.
