This print is part of a series of 55 prints depicting the Tōkaidō Road, which was the main route between Edo (modern-day Tokyo) and Kyoto during the Edo period (1603–1868). The series was created by Utagawa Hiroshige, one of the most famous Japanese woodblock print artists of the 19th century. This particular print depicts the Totsuka station, which was the 8th station on the Tōkaidō Road. The print shows a view of the station from a hill, with travelers and porters resting and preparing for the next leg of their journey. The Tōkaidō Road was an important cultural and commercial artery during the Edo period, and Hiroshige’s prints helped to popularize the road and its landmarks among the general public.

You can wipe it off with microfiber cloth or damp cloth with water and soft soap (shampoo). If your frame has canvas without glass, we recommend simply dust using a dry soft and fine brush. Refrain from using wood polish or cleaning sprays since this could potentially create moisture and possibly damage the artwork.
Dust your frames regularly to avoid the accumulation of dirt. If you want to disassemble the frame for an even more thorough cleaning, be sure to lay the various components onto a clean, dust-free towel or blanket. Make sure all components are completely dry before reassembly.
