Can I use wall sculptures outdoors — on a balcony, patio, or building exterior?
Most of our wall sculptures are designed for indoor use. Wood-based sculptures exposed to rain, direct sunlight, and humidity fluctuations will warp and deteriorate over time. For covered outdoor spaces like balconies or verandahs with a roof overhead, certain treated wood sculptures may work — contact our team to discuss which designs and finishes are suitable for your specific outdoor setting.
What types of wood are used in wall sculptures?
The wood type depends on the design. Heavier, statement pieces often use hardwoods like teak or sheesham for strength and rich grain patterns. Intricate carved designs may use softer woods that allow fine detailing. Some contemporary designs use engineered wood for precision-cut geometric patterns. Every product page specifies the wood type used for that particular sculpture.
How do I clean and maintain a wall sculpture?
Dust regularly with a soft dry cloth or feather duster — get into grooves and carved details where dust accumulates. Avoid water, liquid cleaners, or polishing sprays directly on the wood unless the finish is specifically designed for it. For lacquered or sealed sculptures, a lightly damp cloth followed by immediate drying is fine. Keep sculptures away from direct sunlight and moisture to preserve the wood and finish over years.
Can I get wall sculptures featuring our company logo or brand identity?
Yes. Custom-branded wood sculptures are a striking alternative to flat logo signs — the 3D dimensionality and natural wood texture make your brand feel elevated and tactile. Popular for reception areas, boardrooms, and feature walls. We can laser-cut logos, create abstract compositions in your brand palette, or develop fully bespoke branded installations. Share your brand guidelines and wall dimensions and we'll create mockups.
Can wall sculptures enhance an office or coworking space?
Yes. Sculptures transform sterile corporate walls into spaces with character and warmth. Abstract and geometric designs suit modern offices without being distracting. Nature-themed sculptures work well in breakout and wellness zones. Branded or custom-designed pieces make reception areas and boardrooms memorable for visitors and clients. Wood textures add warmth that paint and flat art simply can't match.
Is the wood in wall sculptures tested for formaldehyde?
Yes. The wood and any engineered wood components in our wall sculptures are specifically tested for formaldehyde emissions and VOC levels. Formaldehyde is commonly found in resins and adhesives used in wood products — it's classified as a carcinogen by European regulatory bodies. We don't use wood materials with untested resin content. Our materials are tested by Eurofins laboratories against international emission standards. This is especially important for large sculptures that bring significant surface area into your living space.
Are the finishes and coatings on wall sculptures safe?
Yes. We use low-VOC coatings and finishes on all our wall sculptures. Conventional wood stains, lacquers, and paints can release volatile organic compounds into your indoor air for months after installation. Our finishing materials are chosen to minimise chemical off-gassing. Combined with our tested wood substrates, this means our sculptures don't silently compromise your indoor air quality — unlike many decorative wood products available in India that use untested finishes.
