How this collection is organised

Vastu tradition reads a home the way a navigator reads a compass: every wall and corner is held to carry its own element, its own mood and its own preferred imagery. This hub follows that map. It contains six smaller collections — three for the principal walls (East, North and South) and three for the corners tradition singles out (Northeast, Northwest and Southwest). Choose the direction that matches your wall, and you will see only the subjects tradition recommends for it.

The six directions at a glance

• East Direction — the largest gallery here. Tradition associates the east with the rising sun and new beginnings, so expect sunrise scenes, birds on the wing and fresh greens.
• North Direction — a small, considered set. The north is traditionally linked with Kubera and with flow, reflected in Kubera Yantras and flowing-water imagery.
• South Direction — traditionally a wall for strength and recognition: peacocks, bold subjects and warm tones.
• Northeast Direction — the Ishan corner, held in tradition to be the most sacred point of the home. Lotus, water and serene imagery lead here, and the selection is one of our deepest.
• Northwest Direction — associated in tradition with air, movement and relationships: cranes, white elephants and graceful birds.
• Southwest Direction — the earth corner, traditionally linked with stability and togetherness: Radha-Krishna and grounded, rooted scenes.

Finding your direction

You do not need a surveyor. Open the compass app on your phone, stand in the middle of the room, and note where each wall sits — the wall on the eastern side of the room is your east wall, and so on. Corners are simply where two directions meet; the corner between north and east is your northeast. If a wall sits ambiguously between two points, browse both collections and let the artwork decide for you.

Getting started

If you are still deciding, the East and Northeast collections hold the widest choice, so they make a generous first stop. And if the compass feels like the wrong starting point altogether, this hub has a sibling — By Purpose — which arranges the same tradition by intention instead: clarity, harmony, prosperity and more.
