How this collection is organised

This is the home of our complete Vastu Shastra range — more than 250 artworks, each chosen because its subject carries a long-standing association in Vastu tradition. To keep browsing simple, the collection branches into two smaller hubs. By Direction arranges artworks according to where tradition places them: the east, north and south walls, and the northeast, northwest and southwest corners of the home. By Purpose arranges the same tradition by intention instead, across thirteen themes that range from purity, mental clarity and meditation to love and harmony, victory and protection, and financial and opportunity flow.

Choosing by direction or by purpose

Start with By Direction if you already know the wall you are dressing. Vastu tradition treats each compass point as having its own character — the east greets the sunrise, the northeast is held to be the most sacred corner of the home, the southwest anchors it — and recommends subjects to suit. Measuring first and browsing by placement is the quickest route to a shortlist.

Start with By Purpose if you are shopping for a feeling rather than a spot: a calmer study, a warmer bedroom, a more welcoming entrance. Each purpose gathers the subjects tradition prescribes for that particular intention, wherever they may eventually hang.

Neither route is more correct than the other. They are two doors into the same collection, and many customers wander happily between them before settling on a piece.

The subjects you will meet

A few motifs recur throughout, because tradition returns to them again and again. Galloping horses are traditionally linked with energy and momentum; peacocks with beauty, dignity and protection; elephants with wisdom and steadfast strength. Blossoming branches are held to signal renewal, while quiet countryside scenes are traditionally chosen for calm and a sense of plenty. We present these meanings the way tradition does — as guidance handed down through generations, not as promises — so choose the piece whose story, and whose look, sits well with you.

Three small steps make the choice easier. First, measure the wall you have in mind and note roughly how much space you can give a frame.
