Metal Wall Art

Metal

Metal brings weight and light to a wall: brushed finishes, clean edges and a sculptural presence that flat prints cannot match. This collection gathers our metal and metal-finish wall pieces, from geometric statements to parametric designs made in India.

Why metal

The image is printed directly onto an aluminium sheet, so the metal sits under the ink rather than behind glass. White areas become bare brushed aluminium, which means highlights genuinely reflect light — a sunset or a city at night reads as though it is lit from behind. Nothing else we print on does this.

Where it works

Metal is rigid, waterproof and needs no glazing, which makes it the one material that belongs in a bathroom, a kitchen or a covered balcony. It also suits humid coastal homes where paper and canvas can cockle. Visually it favours bold, graphic, high-contrast work — geometrics, abstracts, photography — over soft or painterly images, which can look cold on a reflective surface.

Mounting

Aluminium prints hang on a recessed float mount, so the panel stands a centimetre off the wall with no visible fixings and a shadow line around the edge. There is no frame unless you want one.

Care

Wipe with a damp cloth. It is the only material here you can actually clean.

Metal wall art: common questions

What is metal wall art?

Artwork produced with a metal finish rather than on paper or canvas. The image sits on a brushed aluminium surface, so white areas become bare metal and highlights reflect real light. Metal foil and gold-toned designs lead this page.

Does a metal finish rust indoors?

No. Indoor metal prints are coated, which seals the surface against humidity. Wipe with a dry cloth now and then and the finish holds for years. In coastal cities, keep metal off open balconies exposed to salt air.

Where does metal wall art work best?

Living rooms and entrances, where a wall should make a confident first impression. The finish favours bold graphic work over soft painterly images. It needs no glazing, so it also handles a kitchen or a covered balcony.

Every piece here is made to order and delivered ready to hang — made in India.
